  • node — local Maia authority, durable state, IPC, process ownership, receipts, and projections.

The target agent execution boundary is one out-of-process worker based on official @earendil-works/pi-* packages. Legacy imported activation adapters are compatibility material pending replacement and are not public runtime options.

Future remote workers provide disposable capacity. They do not own Tasks, Runs, Sessions, leases, or receipts. A2A peers map to durable Maia tasks and never receive internal worker authority.
